Jean's life turns upside down when she discovers a corpse in a cafe and answers his ringing cell phone and becomes an unexpected part of his life and family. In dealing with his overbearing mother, his distant widow, and his quiet and lovestruck brother, Jean begins a journey in search of true connection - with stops along the way at a stationary store, the black market, and the afterlife.
