Paris, 1889 love and mischief are in the air. Bobinet and Gardefeu are rivals for Metella's affection, the Baron wants to a romantic affair without his wife, the Brazilian wants to through a party, and Frick and Gabrielle get to play dress up. Everyone from the maids to nobility have a their fill with some mistaken identity for good measure.. This fast-paced comedy is a farce through and through. In the end everyone ends up with the proper partner, to the accompaniment of champagne corks popping!
