Little Harry, a wannabe chef trapped cooking at his dad’s failing NYC restaurant, doesn’t know how to leave without breaking his dad's heart. Sherri, the landlady’s daughter, feels stuck as the bill collector in her mother’s rental management company.
Sparks fly the day Sherri, fresh off a broken engagement, comes to collect past due rent. Hoping to forestall eviction, Little Harry asks Sherri out on a date. They bond over the parental ties that choke and bind. Love at first sight fast tracks to a proposal - until everything implodes.
