Jimmy Winter, a dashing ladies’ man, has just arrived home with his new bride Constance, only to find that his first marriage years ago has not been annulled. To make matters worse, his heart truly belongs to the clever and spontaneous Kay, who just happens to be on the run from the law and posing as Jimmy’s maid. Meanwhile, a pair of bootleggers is using Jimmy’s house to store their illegal booze, and threaten to bring more scrutiny to this chaotic and charming musical from the Gershwin Brothers.
